J. McCarthy Ltd was established in Westminster in 1798 and has remained in the same family ever since. After the original premises were destroyed during the Blitz, the business continued through successive generations.
Today, J. McCarthy Ltd is run by Robert Mullings, a direct descendant of the founder, John McCarthy, from our office and workshop at 49 Maddox Street in Mayfair.
We specialise in antique, vintage and contemporary jewellery, alongside repairs, restoration, bespoke commissions and professional valuations. Our jewellery collection can be viewed online, and clients are welcome to visit us by appointment.
