A striking late 20th century ruby and diamond ring, crafted in 18ct yellow gold. A rich oval-cut ruby sits at the centre, surrounded by sparkling single-cut diamonds. The diamonds are individually set within a distinctive V-shaped white metal surround, creating an unusual sculptural frame around the ruby and giving the ring wonderful character from every angle. A substantial tapered yellow gold shank completes the design. A beautifully individual vintage ring with a particularly distinctive setting.
